Hidden Gems in Southern California. Many tourists travel to Southern California in famous places of San Diego, Disneyland, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara. To see all these places, but if you are looking for more than just radars, see the following incredible places:
Hidden Gems in Southern California
My husband and I spent most of our lives in California, but as we have lost these wonderful islands, they are classified as the largest parks in the United States. After seeing some great images on the Internet, we traveled as part of the Nisson tour until the weekend of a small boat trip to Anacapa Island.
You decide to go, prepare and get provisions. This trip is a good physical form for brave people. You will have to climb up 157 stairs of this annoying little island, where there is no food, service, water or toilet. Now, I hate dependency, but I tell you that the rocky coast, the huge stones, and the zodiac peaks are valuable to see. A few hours with inspirational points can easily be moved to the island with a great reward for your efforts.
We visited in June when thousands of seagulls were found breathless around small islands and beautiful cracks of wildlife at each corner. If you are very close to those who fall head first, pay attention only to their protective mothers.
We returned after several years and visited the largest island of Santa Cruz for the thrill of the historic marine caves. On the boat ride, we saw a whale and a dolphin in two large schools. You could shake some water points, but the cave was amazing. It was a unique experience.
Some people consider that these islands are eliminated, but if you have a courageous feeling and a love nature, then the Channel Islands are considered Galapagos in North America.
Huntington Botanical Garden
This is a great place that we could not see for decades. Located in Pasadena, there are over 120 acres of large gardens on luxury properties. The brightest garden that does not say, but the Japanese Garden, the Garden of Roses and the Garden of California are my favorites.
We did not even have the opportunity to check the art gallery. The Huntington Art Gallery includes paintings, statues and British decorations from the 18th and 19th centuries from the decorative arts industry and the famous Blue Boy. And as an author, I’m not ashamed, we do not visit the Huntington Library among the largest and most extensive research libraries in the United States.
Ventura County trine wine
Napa can attract attention as a liquor country in California, but my husband and I enjoyed a nice trip through the coastal hills near Ventura in the coastal city. We entered 20 winners’ rooms and tests.
You can book many gastronomic and wine offers. However, we decided to get a map and discover ours. Starting from the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 101 from Ventura, we arrive at the oval on Highway 33.
The surprising thing is that it’s a bit lonely but interesting, from the “lowest office in the United States” to the last place where someone saw James Dean alive, our favorite search was at Old Creek Winery, which was a simple place to return. And the friendly dogs and dogs welcome us. We enjoyed bottles of wine and picnic outside the table, which enjoyed the American view.
However, both the Ozzano and the Ventura make attractive breaks, fantastic spaces and a value of rest both in bed and breakfast and in many outdoor activities. In summer, a group of activities at the Vernu Harber Village festival and live music on weekends.
This lovely beach is located in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego. With more than 20 different natural scenes, this beach area offers everything for surfing, pedaling, snorkeling, kayaking, and observation of whims.
Be careful, surfing can be guessed in some places. When I was a teenager, I decided to move my body in spite of a little water and wash with a huge wave (Remember the song of the beach boys: Hehe hey Poch!). In fact, I blame the age of the beach for this incident because they created the history of all this guitar and romantic songs and I became a surfer girl. So blame them.
However, the scenario can not be defeated. Add ultra-stylish restaurants and shops and unique art galleries and get photos. There are also Baby Boomer clubs on Saturday night dancing. Every summer, they receive Woodstock Legon where baby boomers celebrate, as it was in 1969.
Heisler Park is a good starting point, located on the north side of the main coast, with beautiful views of the coast and a half mile walk with the sound of disaster. You can take one of the beaches and tide pools. The bank, picnic tables and barbecues, from where you can enjoy excellent views. My husband and I had a picnic in the grass area and it was perfect!
Treasure Island Park is another beautiful place, located on the five-star beach Montagu Laguna, where the stay is really rich. Follow the simple spiral path, the beautiful landscapes, many find banks. Stairs and ramps take you to the beach, where you can cross the beautiful arches of rock at low tide, you can find a place to dusk in the sand and a large tidal pool. Also, there are lots of grass fields for picnics. I would recommend bringing alcohol and pans to capture a romantic sunset.
Big Bear Lake
I live in the desert, so the huge beer has transferred a beautiful mountain with its beautiful lake and ancient forests. Rising, fishing and hiking activities in these small towns.
Last summer, my husband and I traveled around the lake, I was a field day, I ran a car from the door 30 meters away and saw a spectacular scene for a spectacular chair. It is. After meeting the people who come from the mountain bike, we put it on our work list later on.
For more adventure, parasailing and zip line are available.
El Matador Beach
Are you looking for a fantastic beach with white stripes, rocky cliffs, fragile waves and rock formations in semi-hidden places?
Do not look at El Matador on the north side of Malibu, this is the Pacific coastal road. Observe the small brown mark that indicates the small parking lot of the stone, it is not easy to notice, so be careful with Broad Beach and Decker Canon Road. Once you find it, then some stairs are ready for a 150-foot rock walk with the help of.
Not for small children or people with physical disabilities, but if you can withdraw from those steps, it will be tempting for you. The locals know this beach and you can see some photo sessions, we’ve done it!
This small but magnificent stretch of beach is very low, so take a picnic or a little wine and look for a hidden corner to enjoy incredible romantic scenarios.
Until now, maybe you’ve seen that my husband and I are beach bombs. The next morning, on the morning before the flight, we found this accident on the beach.
Redondo Pierre is a point of reference with a wide view of the sea and port activities, such as Port Cruise, whale watching in season, kayak, pedals, and pedals. The truth is that we have not tried any of these, but we like the look of Tony Pierre, where we enjoy the best!
There is a 16-foot white shark in the peacock, which is known as the ‘gorget’, which is displayed in a large pool of pear shark attacks. If you are a grandchild or you are young at heart, you can enjoy a yellow submarine for the aquatic submersible water scene (now, the Beatles song is stuck in my head).
You are flying from Los Angeles, of course, you like to be in an airport hotel.
This island is even better than some of my previous recommendations, but it is a favorite enthusiast. My husband and I spent my honeymoon 40 years ago and have returned many times. This is a small beautiful island with a traffic light or a fast food restaurant. A general traffic jam involves two golf carts and one cycle for two.
During our honeymoon, we walk happily through Avalon, riding a horse, visiting famous casinos and sunset on a small beach. We took a bus to the only village of Herbert on Catalina Island. Snorkeling, parasailing, fishing, glass bottom boats, paddleboard, Segway Tours, golf and hiking. Other popular activities
After several decades, we sent our boat from Long Beach to the island, which was a wild trip. My husband and older children are returning to our open water diving by a certified forest diver in the famous Shettala forest surrounded by the poor orange fish of Garibaldi. The next time we travel, I want to try a new zip line that is 600 feet above sea level and a nation of 1,100 feet long at 30 meters. Wheee!
As you can see, there are so many places to travel to Southern California that it is impossible to list them all. But I hope I started to give you some ideas!
